Family Planning Presentation

The topic that we presented was Family planning. The contents that were discussed are importance/significance of family planning, types of contraceptive methods, commonest contraceptive method being used by Malaysian. Besides, we also presented on promotion of family planning health. How the patients were counseled and educated regarding pros and cons of particular contraception, how the patients were being followed up. We also included the statistics in Malaysia on family planning in relation to 3 major races. However, Dr.Prakash gave his comments to get further information on statistics of family planning methods in Kuala Nerang district. Moreover, he urged us to find about how the budget is planned, how the various types of contraception are ordered and stored. We were also asked to find out about how the contraception are distributed among all the Klinik Kesihatan in Kuala Nerang district. Last but not least, we were told to find out about eligibility criteria for family planning.
